Chalkboard is where happenings are announced: a new release of wine, an event, a seasonal greeting, or just whimsy.
BBQ Friday Nights at the Winery
6 to 9pm. Starting when the weather warms, we will set up a big BBQ. Bring you own meat or item to throw on the BBQ, enjoy some fabulous local music, and a glass of wine. Also bring your own plates and silverware. I’ll provide a couple of tables and water, besides wine. And just in case, I will have extra plastic silverware and paper plates.
We are looking for growers on Vashon Island to grow grapes for us. We will help you get started with advice and counsel, then you grow and harvest the grapes (with our help if needed), and we’ll make the wine.)
New Release
The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon was released in January, 2007. It is balanced wine with great flavors. It is blended with 8% each of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine drinks great right now, but it will be better over time; three more years?
